LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball professional who is a player for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. He is known as King James he is widely thought of as one of the most successful athletes of all time. He is often compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the best basketball player of all time. James has been awarded four NBA championships and four NBA MVP Awards, four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James is the player with the most points during the playoffs, and has the second highest number of career points and has the seventh most career assists. In addition to being an NBA All-Star, James was chosen for his NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. The ten NBA Finals is the most ever. He has also won eight times consecutively between the years 2011-2018; James was also chosen to be on The NBA 75th Anniversary team. James was selected to be a member of the 75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became the first NBA player to ever score 10,000 or higher career points. James played basketball with St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio, where he lived his entire life. The national media praised James as a possible NBA star. He was a pre-profession player and chosen for the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first top pick of 2003's NBA draft. Named the 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year, the player quickly became one of the best league players, winning his NBA MVP title in 2009 and 2010. James was not able to secure the award with Cleveland, and departed the city as a "free agent" in 2010. The move was revealed in the TV special The Decision.
