Mary McCormack was an American actress best known for her roles as the main character in TV series such as "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Alongside her television role, she's also been recognized for her movie roles like Private Parts, Deep Impact,?True Crime? and?"1408". McCormack is the daughter of a clinical psychologist, as well as the proprietor of an ice cream shop. Her family is a family that is not entertainment-based. McCormack attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following the separation of her parents in 1990, she was accepted to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. She completed the BA program in Comparative arts. The career of the actress began at the young age of 12, when she performed in a stage production of the Christmas musical "Amahl and The Night Visitors'. While she pursued her profession as a stage actress, McCormack ultimately became a part of films and television. McCormack has become one of Hollywood's best actors. McCormack has three daughters along together with her husband, director/producer Michael Morris.
