Marcia Gay Harden

Marcia Gay Harden is the fifth of her siblings born in La Jolla on 14 August 1959. Beverly Bushfield is her mother employed as a domestic worker during the time that Thad Harold Harden fought in the army. She began to develop an interest in theater while staying together with family members in Greece and going to plays in Athens. Harden began her studies in Europe in American colleges and eventually moved to the US to complete her master's degree at University of Texas. In 1983, Harden earned her MFA at NYU. Her previous roles included an upcoming film, The Imagemaker, but her first major role was in Miller's Crossing, the Coen Brothers' offbeat, clever reference to gangster film. Harden was praised for her performance in the movie, which was sexy and raunchy as Verna as a stunning, trouble-making moll. Harden was later cast in supporting role. Her role was Ava Gardner, a TV biopic about Frank Sinatra. Marcia Marcia Marcia
