Lizzo

LizzoLizzo joined a prog-rock band where she sang and occasionally played the flute. Her family moved to Denver, so she was left on the road on her own, trying to make a name for herself in Houston. Lizzo was living on her own in her car, and sometimes sleeping on the floor in her studio recording studio she also washed her hair at the gym. Lizzo's father passed away at the age of twenty-one. They had been close and it was a heartbreaking loss. She left the prog-rock band in 2010, following her father's death. After a brief stop in Denver in 2010, Lizzo moved to Minneapolis upon the request of a friend in 2011. Lizzo soon found herself in the city's music scene. She was a part of the girl group Chalice, GRRRL PRTY. The album she released was Lizzobangers, her debut. out via an independent label in the year 2013.
